Photography journey

I have a new chapter.  Somewhere, last week I was reflecting on dreams and where my voice has come along.  I've been to therapy.  I started working out.  I meditate nightly, now.  Currently, I am in a good head space for things.  Which got me thinking about a dream of mine I've had since I was 7.  I have a passion for photography.  As evident with pictures I take sometimes and even my nickname of Paparazzi. lol .  I have had feedback that I have an eye for it.  And with my new found confidence in myself...I decided to give it a try.  So...this is my new blog.
A photography journey.

I joined photography groups.  I'm looking at cameras for my birthday present.  I have a 5 year plan to either make this semi- professional..or perhaps, professional.  For now, I'm starting at the very bottom.  It's how I like to work.  I work from the ground up.  I may actually know more than I realize but I don't want to presume anything.  I want to learn terminology.  I want to learn lighting.  I want to learn angles.  I have still been writing my experiences in life.  I just write in a journal, now instead of a blog.  I have a mentor, even.  My friend is far more advanced in her photography journey than I am so I am learning from her.

I saw this at the bookstore.  I feel so connected to it.
